Insane Tattoos are a true symbol of dedication

I’ve had the privilege to meet a handful of people who have get tattooed in unique places we’ll explore below. What they all share–aside from tattoos on some very serious locations–is that they’re genuinely committed to showing the world what their inner selves look like. They believe that their tattoos reflect the person they are inside It’s not about the value of shock.

While I certainly believe that these tattoos are far from being appropriate in my opinion, if they’re your style, then more than you can go get tattooed!

1. Eyeball Tattoo

However, tattooing an eyeball (like many tattoos) was first introduced hundreds of years ago. This tattoo is at the very top of the list. Not due to the intensity of the pain but, rather because the person who decides to have this tattoo must possess a tremendous amount to control their battle or flight reaction. The eyeball doesn’t have any pain receptors on the outside from the cornea. It doesn’t hurt (though it can be painful!) to have an eyeball tattoo. However, there’s still that huge tattoo machine that has an incredibly sharp needle in the middle that rotates and punctures every object it comes in contact with hundreds of times a minute. It’s certainly not a joke to sit in silence and look towards the future while your artist lays down on you with their needle before inserting pigment into the eyeball’s flesh.

In addition, there are some serious dangers associated with eyeball tattoos, much higher than your standard tattoo. With the potential for infections, permanent inflammation or scarring may be blind. These are extremely risky as even if the artist has everything in place it is possible to go blind. It all depends on every person, every artist, and on the particular circumstance. 2. Eyelid Tattoos

Similar to eyeball tattoos, these tattoos make me feel goosebumps every time I think about getting a needle close to my eyes. However, this tattoo style is number two on the list since in addition to the possibility of a needle being inserted into the eye, you’ve been afflicted with the possibility of severe pain. The membranes and skin of the eyelids are extremely thin and comprise tiny and very sensitive nerve endings that can feel very hot both before and after the tattoo of your eyelid.

3. Nail Tattoos on the bed

Nail bed tattoos are third in this listing, not due to the extreme area, but because of the severe pain associated with having the tattoo. If you’ve ever broken your finger, or had the fingernail or toenail removed and then you may have a rough idea about the extent of pain an ink tattoo on the nail bed can be. It’s certainly not for the faint of heart since it’s usually described as sensations that your tattoo device is forcing the bones at the tip of the fingers or toes.

They aren’t very common most likely due to the level of pain however, the patients who receive them usually are waiting until they’ve experienced an unfortunate nail injury. I’ve yet to hear of anyone who had their nails taken out to get the tattoo. That is truly insane.

4. Tattoos on the face

Facial tattoos, specifically full facial tattoos, and especially full facial tattoos, are included on this list due to two reasons:

1. A commitment to your own canvas and the permanent display of it in front of you.
2. The level of pain.

The skin that forms the face area that we refer to as “a face” is very thin and brimming with pores, nerve endings, and wrinkles. This means, not only that it’s painful to the skin, but also that the tattoo artist in Jaipur you choose to work with will likely need to split the tattoo on your face into multiple sessions, especially for small tattoos. 5. Oral Tattoos

I’ve heard that dental and tongue tattoos aren’t too painful and, while cheek tattoos can be uncomfortable, they’re not too bad.
